Expo Environment
Within
the context of the Climate Change and Arctic Issues Youth
Forum, the organizing committee offers you the
opportunity to take part in the Expo Environment that will take
place throughout the day of the forum. It will be possible to
see the exhibition from
12:00
to 1:30pm and from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
“Expo
Environment” is a contest in which participants will present a
poster that must have a link to one of the three following
categories :

Popularization of an environmental research

Any scientific experimentation on the environment theme
-
Environmental
school project
Although the maximum number of participants to the forum is
three, absolutely nothing forbids the project to be carried out
by a greater number of students from the school. So what you
will present at Expo Environment could be the result of a
contest that was previously organized at your school.
To help you realize your project, here are the contest’s rules
which explain what is accepted and what is not, regarding the
elaboration of the project. The measurements of the exhibition
stands are also mentioned in this document.

Three
prizes (300 $, 200 $ et 100 $)
will be awarded to the projects that best respect the
established criteria.

Criteria to come
For
the exhibition, your team will have a table, two chairs and a
three wall stand at its disposal. You will, however, have to
bring the necessary material to hang your poster. We can’t
provide computers for animated presentations but on the other
hand, it will be possible to borrow a projector.
The
deadline to enter the contest is November 14th. To do so, you
must fill in the on-line form below. The number of
places is limited so the sooner we get your registration, the
better chances you have to get a place in the contest. If you
already know that your presentation requires a projector, please
mention this on the form.
All
the participants of the Climate Change and
Arctic issues Youth Forum
as well as the speakers and the teachers will be invited to
visit Expo Environment. Therefore, you will get a unique chance
to share and exchange points of view and knowledge with
different contributors and specialists that evolve around the
environmental domain.
